Daylight Savings begins at 2am this Sunday morning. Turn your clocks forward tonight! Less sleep. Doh. ![]()
The official start is at 2am, but Acting Administrative Services Minister John Hill said the simplest way for people to remember was to put their clocks forward an hour when they go to bed.
“South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and the ACT all switch to Summer Time on Sunday, while daylight savings began in Tasmania on October 1,” Mr Hill said.
Daylight Savings will end in five months’ time at 3am on Sunday, March 25, 2007.
Also take it as an opportunity to change the batteries in your smoke detectors. Good on ya.
